Quando voc\u00ea pensa no Brasil como l\u00edder no ranking mundial de algo, no que voc\u00ea pensa? Futebol? Comida boa? V\u00f4lei? Todas essas respostas seriam corretas, mas nenhuma delas \u00e9 o nosso primeiro tema!<\/p>\n

Our first story is about the world of plastic surgery. You may have noticed that people have been talking about \u201cfacial harmonization\u201d a lot in Brazil over the last few years, and there is a reason for that.<\/p>\n

Statistics show that in 2018 and 2019 Brazil was the country where the most plastic surgery procedures were done, that\u2019s right, no other country did more plastic surgery than Brazil for two years. Things changed in 2020 and the US took first place, becoming number one on the list with around 1.4 million procedures being done around the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Brazil, we have a scenario that focuses on body surgery. We are a tropical country, there is greater body exposure. The demand for body surgeries such as breasts, abdomen, waist is very high\u201d, Alexandre, a plastic surgeon in Hospital S\u00edrio-Liban\u00eas, explained.<\/p>\n

Considering facial procedures specifically, on the other hand, Brazil is still number 1. Researchers believe the reason is the era of selfies and webcams. People these days tend to analyze their own faces much more than they did in the past.<\/p>\n

Voc\u00ea pode expressar esse mesmo sentido com \u201cnowadays\u201d ou \u201cin this day and age\u201d, que \u00e9 o jeito mais legal e dram\u00e1tico!<\/em>\u200d<\/p>\n

Our next story happens in the beautiful Italian Alps, but it\u2019s not a happy one.<\/p>\n

A glacial avalanche happened on Sunday, the 3rd of July, on the Marmolada Ridge, the highest peak of the Dolomite Alps in Italy. The rescue team was very quick to respond to the event but still, what they found was an unfortunate scene.<\/p>\n

“When we arrived, we saw a disaster. We realized the dimensions of this enormous avalanche,” said the head of the local alpine rescue team.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, eight of the missing climbers had been found by Tuesday, but there are still five missing and seven fatal victims have been confirmed. Officials have been using drones, helicopters, and cellphone signals to locate more victims, still in hope of locating survivors.<\/p>\n

Specialists say that these kinds of events are \u201cimpulsive, rapid and unpredictable\u201d, and that \u201cthere is no chance of getting to safety or perceiving the problem in advance\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Marmolada will remain closed to tourists, for now, to allow rescue teams to operate, the mayor of the local town said earlier on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Well, folks, all good things must come to an end, and no, I\u2019m not talking about this podcast episode. I\u2019m talking about one of the most beloved series running today: Stranger Things.<\/p>\n

If you thought you had seen the last of it on July 2, I\u2019m glad to tell you that we\u2019ll still have a little bit more about the mysteries of Hawkings in the future. But I\u2019m afraid to tell you that it\u2019s coming to an end.<\/p>\n

Yes, it is coming to an end, but it seems that it\u2019s going to be at the right time, unlike some series *cough*<\/strong> Game of Thrones *cough\u201d<\/strong>. Netflix has confirmed that the next season, season 5, will be the final part of the series.<\/p>\n

David Harbour, the actor who plays Jim Hopper, says he thinks it will come out in 2024, seeing as the team is already working on the script.<\/p>\n

The writers also mentioned that the final season will be shorter than season 4, and also very straight to the point since the problem has already been pretty much laid out.<\/p>\n
