Cuando hablamos de cantidad, more<\/em><\/strong> quiere decir m\u00e1s<\/em>, mientras que most<\/em><\/strong> quiere decir la mayor cantidad (de algo)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hablemos de more<\/em><\/strong> primero. Lo podemos usar despu\u00e9s de un verbo para indicar hacer m\u00e1s<\/em> de una acci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n se usa antes de sustantivos, en estos casos quiere decir una mayor cantidad<\/em> de aquello de lo que se est\u00e1 hablando.<\/p>\n

Vamos a ver estos ejemplos para que quede m\u00e1s claro:<\/p>\n

I need to practice more. \/ I need more practice.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>Necesito practicar m\u00e1s. \/ Necesito m\u00e1s pr\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n

Most<\/em><\/strong> se usa de la misma manera, pero quiere decir la mayor cantidad\/duraci\u00f3n<\/em>, ya sea de una acci\u00f3n o de un sustantivo. Normalmente, se le agrega \u201cthe\u201d antes.<\/p>\n

Aqu\u00ed van unos ejemplos:<\/p>\n

Ana worked the most. \/ Ana did the most work.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>Ana fue la que m\u00e1s trabaj\u00f3. \/ Ana hizo la mayor cantidad de trabajo.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n podemos usar most<\/em><\/strong> para hacer generalizaciones, y quiere decir la mayor\u00eda<\/em>. En estos casos no hay necesidad de agregar \u201cthe\u201d antes.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Checa este ejemplo:
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Most nights he sleeps early.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>La mayor\u00eda de las noches se duerme temprano.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n quiero comentarte que ambas palabras se pueden usar con adjetivos y tienen una funci\u00f3n similar a las ya explicadas con los ejemplos anteriores. More<\/em><\/strong> es un comparativo que quiere decir m\u00e1s<\/em>, y se usa para decir que alguien o algo tiene o es m\u00e1s de alguna caracter\u00edstica en espec\u00edfico a comparaci\u00f3n de otras. Por su parte, most<\/em><\/strong> es un superlativo que quiere decir el\/la m\u00e1s<\/em>, e indica que alguien o algo tiene el mayor grado de una caracter\u00edstica a comparaci\u00f3n de todos\/todas las dem\u00e1s.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Por ejemplo:
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

These shoes are more expensive, but those are the most expensive.<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/em>Estos zapatos son m\u00e1s caros, pero aquellos son los m\u00e1s caros.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

As\u00ed que ya lo sabes, al hacer comparaciones puedes usar esas dos palabras, s\u00f3lo hay que tener cuidado de si queremos decir que algo es simplemente m\u00e1s o si estamos hablando de algo que tiene el mayor grado de un grupo.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n
